About the event
E-Motion Dance Festival (E-MDF) is a prestigious international dance competition in the Czech Republic, which continues the long tradition of the Prague Open Dance Festival (PODF). This year's edition will take place on 25 and 26 May 2024 in the premises of the Culture House in Mladá Boleslav. On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the dance festival, we have established a new tradition in the form of the unique opening night NINE, which this year will be replaced by the Gala Evening for organizational reasons.
There is almost no need to introduce the E-MDF (formerly known as PODF) dance competition anymore. Every year, hundreds of couples travel to the heart of Europe, Czech Republic, to partake in this remarkable event. You can come see who will stand on the winner’s podium, as well as be swept by the dance performances of some of the world’s best couples.

E-MDF Sunday
Superliga COOL DANCE, 26th May 2024
- The most prestigious competition of the series of competitions under the title of ČSTS - gain points to the ČSTS ranklist, which is used for nomination to the Czech Championship
Venue
For the first time, the dance festival will take place in Culture House Mladá Boleslav. What can you look forward to? For a spacious hall with tradition, excellent acoustics, professional sound and lighting.
